Spring Valley, located seven miles south of Glenwood Springs, is an inspiring location. It offers expansive views of the Roaring Fork Valley, including a spectacular view of Mt. Sopris. The Calaway Academic Building is a comfortable location that provides classrooms, computer center, 150-seat theater and commons. The campus also has a library and a student center that includes a dining hall, gymnasium and large meeting rooms. Spring Valley allows guests "to get away from it all" in the Colorado mountains, while staying close to restaurants, shops, galleries and concerts from Glenwood Springs to Aspen.
For team building, the campus offers a climbing wall and challenge course. The Gates Soccer Park, with five athletic fields, has been praised by soccer professionals as one of the best high altitude training facilities in the country. A disc golf course wraps around campus. Area attractions include the trails,
rivers and peaks of the White River National Forest, including two wilderness areas. Glenwood Canyon includes a scenic bike trail along the Colorado River. The Glenwood Hot Springs Pool is one of the worlds largest. Several area golf courses are open to the public.
